Little Italy NYC Engagement Session
In December 2014, I had the pleasure of capturing Michael and Courtney's engagement session in New York City's vibrant Little Italy. Their love for wine led us to a charming shop hosting a tasting, providing an intimate backdrop that reflected their shared passions. We strolled through the bustling streets, incorporating elements of their favorite hobbies to add a personal touch to the photos. The session was a delightful blend of urban exploration and heartfelt moments, culminating in a collection that truly represented their journey together. Since then, I've photographed numerous couples in iconic NYC locations, each engagement photo session uniquely tailored to reflect their personalities and stories, from the chic, fashionable vibes of Shayna and Fabian's engagement, where they dressed as if for a magazine editorial, to the architectural backdrops chosen by Alcides and Kathy in the Meatpacking District, each experience has been a testament to the diverse love stories that unfold in this city. Looking back, Michael and Courtney's session remains a standout, reminding me of the importance of personalizing each shoot to encapsulate the essence of the couple's relationship. As I continue to document love stories across New York City, New Jersey, and beyond, I strive to create timeless images that couples can cherish for a lifetime. Geoff changed quickly into his navy uniform, my assistant stayed in the car, and we got a good one in about two
Rain didn't put a hault to the first of this two day session, Karina and Omar embraced it with a free spirit. Returning the second day, Omar brought out his motorcycle for a personal touch and some really awesome shots.
I felt really connected to Adelyn and Jon and their love of art, specifically architecture, which we tried to bring out in all our shots. I was very excited to be able to go up to the balcony during the ceremony because I was able to capture some beautiful leading lines that I knew they would appreciate. It was a beautiful day outside, and these two very emotional families made for a beautiful wedding.
Natalie and Omar were looking for an autumn themed engagment session, so we headed out to Natirar Park in Peapack, NJ and got some breathtaking shots while we rolled around in the leaves for a bit. After that we made our way to Packanack lake, and put together a heartwarming shoot at the place they first met.
